At FASTFRAME,we’re often brought “custom framed” pieces like the World Series themed example pictured here — suffering deterioration from poor workmanship, fading from UV light, and damage from inferior or acidic materials and glue.

In this case, the client had framed the front page of the St. Louis Dispatch celebrating the Cardinals 1982 World Series Win.  With proper, professional framing, the frame, backing, and mat materials should hold up well over this time frame, and the newspaper page would have faded and discolored less if UV resistant glass had been used.  Additionally, improper glues, mattes, and inferior backing materials endangered this piece — but the owners wisely brought it to FASTFRAME before it was too late.

Unfortunately, when it comes to original, custom framing, “saving” a couple of dollars by cutting corners may cost much more in the long run when frame jobs must be redone or, worse, when irreplaceable artwork, photos, jerseys, or other items are damaged or destroyed.

At FASTFRAME, you’ll frame it once — we do it right the first time, every time.

We use only high-quality, acid free mats and materials, and our glass is UV resistant.  Our materials won’t damage your artwork, photos, or other items, and our professional framers will ensure that your custom framing job will look terrific for decades and decades to come.

We’re happy to help if you have damaged pieces from prior frame jobs – but we also hope you’ll determine the best way to go is to use FASTFRAME in the first place!
